A group of Democrats is calling on the republican candidate for lieutenant governor to release his tax returns. A chapter of the group called Democracy for America has delivered more than 1,000 petition signatures to State Sen. and Republican candidate for governor Bill Brady’s (R-Bloomington) campaign office. They are asking him to pressure his running mate, Jason Plummer, to release his tax returns to the public. [Full Story]

The simulator includes three computer screens, a steering wheel, and brake and gas pedals. Blagojevich Jury Back To Work Today

Extradition procedures are underway for a St. Louis man arrested in Maryland in connection with an Illinois police officer's death. Andrew Davenport is charged with aggravated fleeing from a police officer for the August 10th chase, which left Cowden Police Officer Jeremy Hubbard dead.[Full Story]
