The Riverbend eagle season is starting to wind down, as is usually the case in mid march. There are still a handful of events on the calendar. With the mild winter, eagle counts have been down a little over years with colder weather and more ice on the local rivers.
Alton Regional Convention and Visitor’s Bureau President Brett Stawar tells The Big Z even so, it was a good season for eagle tourism.
