Another Democrat is up for running for Illinois Governor. State Senator Daniel Biss announced Monday that he’s a candidate, calling his campaign one “for the rest of us.” Biss made the announcement on Facebook Live and then took questions from those watching the video feed.
Biss, of Evanston, says that the state needs to break free from the way it’s been run for years:

Madison County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Bob Daiber is in the race, as is Chicago businessman Chris Kennedy. The Republican party wasted no time in calling Biss the North Shore branch of the Madigan Machine.
