Godfrey Legacy Trail Event

Zeke JabuschThe drive to establish a Benjamin Godfrey Legacy Trail continues with a book signing in a couple of weeks.  The North Alton Godfrey Business Council will host the event May 20 at the Hayner Public Library location in downtown alton on May 20 from 2-4pm.

Business Council President Zeke Jabusch tells The Big Z the book is titled Seymour Bluffs and Benjamin Godfrey.

The book was illustrated by the Graphics Art Department at Alton High School. The project is intended to bring awareness to the importance and numerous contributions of Godfrey, preserve his legacy and add another tourism piece to the region.
