Story by WBGZ Radio

Cappel says he does not have any idea what the property is worth, but notes that in addition to the building, there is a "nice piece of property" that would go along with the sale.  In other school board business this week, members approved a salary increase for administrators like principals and school district administration of $1,600 for this school year and next.  That does not include the superintendent who will not receive a raise per his contract.  The board also approved 3-percent increases for employees who are also involved in extracurricular activities like teaching music or coaching. They will receive a 3.5-percent raise next year.
