Over a year ago, the Madison County Treasurer's Office liquidated the approximately $41 million of bonds that were illegally purchased during the administration of former treasurer Frank Miles, according to Treasurer Kurt Prenzler. Madison County Auditor Rick Faccin (pictured) claims that move can be traced to Chief Deputy Treasurer Jeremy Plank, and it has now cost Madison County Taxpayers over $1,000,000, as the bonds have been called.
