The often confusing and sometimes controversial Medicare Part D is ready to begin another sign-up period. Anyone eligible for Medicare benefits can sign up or change drug plan programs now through December 7, according to an expert at the Illinois Department of Insurance.
The Department's Brian Padgett, says now is the time to get ready. He says there are changes to the "donut hole" this year, and experts say if all stays as is, by the year 2020 it will be down to a 75/25 cost share.
