A local minister is putting on a concert this Sunday in Bethalto. Pastor Mike Rayson calls the Bethalto United Methodist Church his home, and will be performing songs from his repertoire this Sunday night at 6:30 at the church. Rayson says his passion for music bloomed in his native Australia.

Rayson has recorded 5 CD's in all, but some of the music he writes is for performance in church only. He says music is a big part of who he is. The Bethalto United Methodist Church is located at 240 East Sherman Street. Sunday's concert is free and open to the public.
