Congressman Aaron Schock says he's optimistic that a new Farm Bill will be passed soon. He says the House and Senate have reached a deal on the food and nutrition program, which was part of the hang-up during the Farm Bill debate last year. Schock says now they're working on a few smaller issues that impact southern crops.
As far as crop insurance, Schock believes the current program will stay in-tact.
