Ronald Joseph Kuebrich, 54, died unexpectedly at 5:00 a.m., Saturday, July 14 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Jerseyville on August 21, 1957, and was one of two children born to the late Joseph H. & Pauline (Vaughn) Kuebrich.

Ronald was raised in the Catholic faith, and graduated in 1975 from Jersey Community High School.  He attended Bradley University in Peoria, where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, and graduated with a B.S. in Geology.

He had been employed as a Lab Tech for National Starch & Chemical in St. Louis.

Surviving are his wife, Christine Kuebrich of Jerseyville; a sister, Carol Kuebrich of Chesterfield, Mo.; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where a Prayer Service will begin at 4 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Celebration will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Jerseyville, with Father Patrick Gibbons officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Jerseyville.

Memorials may be given to the National Alliance on Mental Illness or to Masses, both in care of the funeral home.
