Cards Rally Past Marlins in South Florida

The Cardinals scored four times in the ninth and twice in the 10th to earn an 8-7 victory over the Marlins in Miami Monday night.  Yadier Molina tied the game with a two-run homer in the ninth (his 11th HR of the year).  Victor Marte earned the win – he’s now 2-and-1.  Jason Motte notched his 15th save for the Cards.  Miami closer Heath Bell surrendered four runs in the 9th inning.

Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen says this is one of the toughest losses of the season:

The two teams square off again tonight at Marlins Park – at 6:10 pm.  The starters:  Kyle Lohse (6-2) for the Cards against Carlos Zambrano (4-5) for the Marlins.
