St. Louis Blues forwards T.J. Oshie and David Perron are among the players who will hit the open market when the NHL's free agency period begins today. The 25-year old Oshie scored 19 goals in 80 games for the 'Note last season while Perron scored 21 goals in 57 games last season.
New Jersey Devils captain Zach Parise is considered the top talent available in this year's free-agent crop. He had 31 goals and 38 assists this past season in leading the Devils to the Stanley Cup Final. Predators defenseman Ryan Suter is the marquee blueliner available. Other big names that will generate interest include forwards Jaromir Jagr ], Ray Whitney, Alexander Semin and Dustin Penner, along with defensemen Matt Carle and Jason Garrison.
