Cards Help N.L. Shutout A.L.

Four Cardinals got into the 83rd All-Star Game in Kansas City Tuesday night.  The National League shutout the American League, 8-0 for their third win in a row in All-Star contests. 

Cards outfielders Matt Holliday went 1-for-1 with an RBI single and a run scored.  Carlos Beltran went 0-for-1 with a walk and a run scored.  Rafael Furcal was 1-for-3 with a triple and a run scored.  David Freese went 0-for-1 with a strikeout.  Pitcher Lance Lynn did not appear in the game.
