SIUE has a new men’s baseball coach. Assistant Coach Tony Stoecklin has been promoted to take over the program after longtime head coach Bo Collins stepped down to take a position as Director of Development for Intercollegiate Athletics. Stoecklin played under Collins in the 1991-92 season, is a Roxana High graduate, and also played professional ball in the Atlanta Braves organization and other semi-pro ball for nine years before joining the SIUE club more than 10 years ago.
Collins served as head coach at SIUE for 34 years.
