The 4th annual Roxana Volleyball Tournament got started on Monday with 7 matches in pool play.
The host Lady Shells went 2-and-0 to open the tourney with wins over Dupo and Mt. Olive. The EA/WR Lady Oilers went 3-and-0 on the day with victories over Dupo, Jerseyville, and Mt. Olive.
Pool play continues today at Roxana High School.
Pool B will be in action today – Alton's J-V squad starts play at 5 pm against Bunker Hill and then faces Calhoun at 6.
Gillespie and Madison are also in action today and tonight in pool B (@ Roxana). The finals are set for Saturday.
