(Detroit, MI) -- Henrik Zetterberg's empty-netter late in the third period completed his hat trick and helped the Red Wings defeat the Blues, 5-3. He also supplied two assists for Pavel Datsyuk [[ PAV-el DAT-zook ]] and Jonathan Ericsson in the win. Johan Franzen registered three assists for Detroit, which has won two straight. Jimmy Howard made 23 saves in net for the victors. Kevin Shattenkirk, Matt D'Agostini and Patrik Berglund all scored for the Blues. Jaroslav Halak [[ YAR-oh-slahv huh-LOCK ]] stopped nine-of-11 shots before leaving in the first with an apparent injury. Brian Elliott made 17 saves the rest of the way for St. Louis, which fell to 6-and-2.
